The first time I laid my eyes on this book, I knew I had to buy it.  Over the next few days, I devoured short stories, essays, poems, and a TV drama script by some of the finest Tsinoy writers from the last forty years.  Voicing out their feelings, thoughts, and emotions in Tagalog or English rather than in Mandarin as most Tsinoy writers do now, I felt I was in the company of good friends sharing tea, dimsum, and interesting conversation.

Recently, I received a note from my good friend Cherie, who, to my surprise, had left her old flame for someone new. Strictly speaking though, Robert, her "new" beau, isn't really someone new in her life - he was her high school sweetheart. After years apart, they met again at a Christmas party and also spent the Chinese New Year together. Now, they're planning the next major event they're celebrating together - their own wedding.

I realized that I could not blame anyone for my misery. The only reason behind this misery is me because I am the one who is facing struggles and handling stress. And, my emptiness can only be filled by the Holy Spirit by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I am truly blessed with this musical presentation.
